Topic: Stepper motor and proximity sensors (Read 359 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi All

I have a stepper motor driven distribution valve I am trying to use. From what I can see there is several hall effect sensors. I am trying to figure out  what the output is on the IDC connector or some direction on reading from the sensors. I am thinking of using  a bigeasy driver for control and using the sensors for  positioning. Any help is appreciated.

I don't think so.

It looks like a beams of light are interruped when the shaft is rotated.
Slotted opto switches.
O/Ps would be digital high/low.
The way you have it in your schematic isn't the same as how you have it wired up!
