can arduino run on the atmega8(L) for ultra small low power aplications? this chip would allow arduino to run on a lithium coin battery.

someone here must know this one!!! the only real difference between the two chips is, the atmegaL runs at 8mhz instead of the normal 16... but the internal rtc is the same. the chip also runs at 3volts instead of 5.
