Any pros or cons on the 1.0.5 update?

An Update is by definition better :)
Besides you get all these cool new routines and support for new hardware you haven't bought yet :)

No it isn't.

Windows ME?

Will this update work with the older version? Because I remember all the issues I had getting the Arduino to work at first! What a pain in the butt, after all the kinks were worked out, it has been working fine. Still working on the ATTINY84 problem but I am sure I can get that straightened out.

The update is a very minor one.

If it were going to version 1.1.0 or to 2.0.0 then you'd want to worry.  As it's only a 0.0.1 change you'll be lucky if you see any difference at first.

Typically one can look at the published release notes with each new version to see what has been added, deleted, or changed then make up your mind if you wish to upgrade or not. It's pretty easy to have multiple versions installed on one PC, but that can lead to problems trying to keep track of compatibilities of the newer Vs older sketches you develop.

I jumped from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5, see if any mysterious things occur the next few days.
Copied in the  mighty1284 stuff, Bobuino appears as a board type ok ...

I prefer Windows BOB for this example...

Bob wasn't a stand-alone version of windows, but a replacement shell for existing versions of windows.  As such it doesn't qualify :P

Finally! A clarification. After seeing Bob run, I really wasn't sure what it was...
