I am logging data onto a PC using serial I/O with the USB cable.  Robust means that when the power cycles the PC will automatically continue to log the data without user intervention.

Does anyone know of a Windows 7 application that would do this?

Thanks

I've used Advanced Serial Data Logger is past. It can run as a service and will start before user login.

Note about Serial-USB cable: they usually disconnect without any reason and do not work until you replug the cable.

Use the leonardo keyboard library to enter into excel cells.  For Linux freebee, use Gnumeric (comes with linux puppy).  These programs can perform dynamic analysis. smiley-eek
