Self balancing robots, eat your heart out...

This is a quad copter that balances a pole and can move based on a simple pointer, still balancing the pole.

This quad uses a laptop for its processor. If the quad could detect the pole itself and use its on-board processor to calculate the needed corrections, it would be an order of magnitude more impressive.
