PCB question What is the term for the white paint they put on circuit boards for component description. I've searched google and I keep getting flooded with pcb etching guides.

I am looking for different standards of applying component names/labels.

Do you know the terminology so I can Google it?

examples: Are there DIY machines that you can set up, or do you use something like a stencil and spray paint? Are there programs I can use with my cnc router that are useful for applying it to prototypes? if so, do you have recommendations?
I'm not a newbie I just lurk a lot.

Found it. It is silk screen. There is also a method to make PCBs with a silk screen and that is what threw me off.

Here is one with a printer and nail polish that looks like it will do what I want.
