I am getting into electronics again!
So I am watching this video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_139110&feature=iv&src_vid=_ONh_7Kzt0E&v=xZaAbMKUzWw

And I am wondering why he attached cables to the button pads? I thought there is a pressure pad over the button, and that when there is pressure on the button pad it completes the circuit.

Can anyone give me some detail on how this works?
Thanks everyone C:
