Embedded system designs are pervasive in everyday life items such as microwave ovens, automatic brake systems, smartphones, and sophisticated robotic systems such as the Curiosity lander on Mars. The knowledge and experience of embedded system design is important for engineering students to meet industry needs for entry-level professionals. This course is an introduction course on embedded system designs. The students will design systems using the Raspberry Pi and Arduino development boards, programming in Python and C using Linux operating systems. Students will be introduced to system design through series of labs in the web camera and robotics systems. These are designed to give hands-on experience through, system design, programming, building, and test hard wares. Students will be given a chance to design their own systems in a final project.Students in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and software engineering with interests in designing are encouraged to take this course.
Unfortunately, I don't have a PPT prepared at the moment for the course.
