Code:
/*

  HelloWorld.pde

  "Hello World!" example code.

  >>> Before compiling: Please remove comment from the constructor of the
  >>> connected graphics display (see below).

  Universal 8bit Graphics Library, http://code.google.com/p/u8glib/

If anybody finds a better wording than
Code:
  >>> Before compiling: Please remove comment from the constructor of the
  >>> connected graphics display (see below).
please let me know.

I probably should also put a red blinking alert light next to these two lines  smiley-wink

Curious, why not remove the comments, before it is downloaded?

Thanks, Jack

Because I do not know which display in which configuration is used. Examples look like this and you hve to uncomment one line:
Code:
// setup u8g object, please remove comment from one of the following constructor calls
// IMPORTANT NOTE: The following list is incomplete. The complete list of supported
// devices with all constructor calls is here: http://code.google.com/p/u8glib/wiki/device

Hi, guys, I'd like to ask one more question, how am I supposed to do to show variables by using U8glib?  smiley U8glib is an amazing library, I tried many functions and it was so funny, couldn't help to play that all day smiley-grin

U8glib has the procedure "print" to print variable values: http://code.google.com/p/u8glib/wiki/userreference#print. This print procedure is identical to http://arduino.cc/en/Serial/Print

lol, oh now I understand when you want it to work you need to combine u8g.setPrintPos(x, y) & u8g.print(..), which is kinda different from u8g.drawStr(x, y, ".."). Danke Oliver!  smiley-wink
