Hello! I have a cgn2-Rog modem/router.

Originally, it acted as a wireless router and I could access it through the default gateway (192.168.0.1).

As per the instructions of this page, I put it in bridge mode.
http://cshouse.ca/bridge-mode-workaround-for-rogers-router-cgn2-rog-with-some-help-from-the-asus-rt-n56u/

After connecting my router to the modem's access port, I found i could connect to my router but got no internet access.

I used an ethernet cable to directly connect to the bridged modem but cannot access the modem now to change it back.

I don't know whats going on and I exhausted a list of typical default gateways.
I was hoping someone here more knowledgeable than me would be able to help.
