There is something seriously incompatible with Linux redhat and firefox.
I have a huge header and need to scroll all the way down to have the text appear (I really need to drag the scrollbar or it won't work) and then scroll up.

With Firefox on Mint the header collapses as soon as I start scrolling down which is good. Same behavior on Win 8. Is your release current?

Version 17.0.8 which is the latest version according to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/.

That's odd, I have 24.0 on both Linux and Windoze.

Thanks to both! Is there a way to know these links, or were they just captured previously from the page?

The issue with older Firefox versions is caused by a typo in common.css:

Code: [Select]

#pageheader .search input:-moz-placeholder { /* Firefox 18- */
   font-size: 822222em;
   padding-top: 3px;
}

The surrounding blocks have .822222em there. Should be easy to fix.

I've also sent this report to webmaster@.

Same for me, after 'Replies' I would do 'Unread' as it's ideal if your dipping in and out regularly (and good for finding spammers quickly). I did not realize you could sort the replies to easily list zero reply posts at top.

I have only been browsing for a few minutes and I think the new font style/size is more of a strain on my eyes.

Can anyone tell me anything that is better with the new setup than the old one ?
I have not yet found any advantages and, as I and others have pointed out, there seem to be several disadvantages.
Please do not send me PMs asking for help.  Post in the forum then everyone will benefit from seeing the questions and answers.

This happens also on Win7 and Firefox.

Seem my reply in comment #19, this has been diagnosed and reported to the webmasters. It should be easy to fix.

Most recent fixes:
- infinite scroll toolbar (thanks matthijskooijman for the hint ;-) )
- font size in preview

Please enforce a reload of contents, especially CSS, refreshing pages with Ctrl+F5 in your browser.

The Unread / Replies links are coming ;-)

Just now when I tried to sign in I got a CAPTCHA challenge and the login failed (I use auto sign in). Thankfully closing the tab and trying again worked without the challenge. Not sure why it came up and hope to never see it again. Using Windows Vista 32 HP and Firefox 24.0

+1 (Debian testing firefox 17.08)
Works correctly with Chromium (opensource release of Google Chrome).

As screen are much large than high please decrease the high  of the top banner, you loss too many lines.
Also the names of modérators are too much repeat in the same page,  I counted up to 3 times.

The goal is to be able to read the maximum title topic without scrolling the page.

"Unread" and "Unread replies" links in the forum are dramaticaly missing.
