The Unread / Replies links are coming ;-)

And... here we are.
Do you prefer them just in homepage or on top of every page?

Other recent fixes are mostly related to Store and Playground. Quite a busy day...

I would have them at the top and bottom of every page. But them I'm just greedy.

Do not waste space with redundant information
Remember a screen is larger than higher !
We must keep up the place for the real information : topic

1. using my Android v.4.2 tablet, the profile menu pulls down, but the menu selections don't work.

2. also, the utterly humungus header at the top takes up 1/2 the 7" screen and doesn't go away when I try to use the reply editing window. Can't see what I'm doing. It also blocks the preview. It keeps popping up and blocking everything. ROYALE PITA!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reply editor is still only 2 lines tall on IE10, and there is no option to resize it.

This has been fixed yesterday, and many users already confirmed.
Please be sure to refresh the cache in your browser, the updated CSS file has to be downloaded. Sometime pressing Ctrl+F5 (instead of F5 only) helps.

F12 -> Cache -> Clear Browser Cache fixed it, thanks :D

From Perú the new site is really slooooow, delay until 30 sec. to load any section, forum include.

The new font is very small and difficult to read. To read on-screen are not recommended fonts with serif. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serif.

I decided to wait a little before commenting here, and to give others who are here longer time to comment.

My experience of the new design is all negative. Sorry.

Anyone designing a website should study the Google home page for at least 3 days. Less is more.

The following are not in any order of priority.

== Pages seem slower to load resulting in my browser (Opera 12.01 on Xubuntu) being jerky with scrolling and button clicks - it's obviously busy with some background stuff.  I never noticed this on the previous version.

== The blue banner at the top of the page is much too big and just wastes space. It should be reduced to 50% or less of it's present size.

== I don't like the typeface - but I accept that that's a personal issue.

== The script is much too large and there seems to be too much whitespace between lines. It makes the pages (especially on the main site) look like an infant's first reader.

== The columns for the numbers of replies and views are too narrow (or the font too large) so the numbers apread over 3 lines. That makes them unreadable AND wastes page space.

I'm sure I will remember other issues as soon as I post this.

I haven't been able to find any consultation process before the changes were implemented - to ask users what they would like.

Personally I like a little bit of style and an awful lot of stuff omitted to make pages load quickly.

edit because my use of list didn't work.

Until "Replies" button is back, put this in Favorites or something.. http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?action=unreadreplies
And to see your own latest post: http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?action=profile;sa=showPosts
Thanks for that tip - but replies definitely needs to come back sooner rather than later!

Oh yeah, so it is! Thanks. Had to go to the front page of the forum to see it though.

While I'm here, some things I wouldn't mind seeing the back of (and can't believe they're still here in 2013!) are.

The "insert flash" button. It can only bring danger and annoyance...
http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash10/weebl/badgers(www.albinoblacksheep.com).swf
EDIT: In fact, it doesn't insert flash at all anyway!
Marquee?! Seriously. MARQUEE! In 2013?
Glow actually just seems to highlight and shadow doesn't seem to do anything on Chrome. Do they bring much value?
Also font face doesn't do anything except change to Verdana. And "change color" doesn't work on more than one line.
And some more contemporary icons would be nice. Flashbacks to AOL 1997 are great from time to time but that "insert URL" icon looks nothing like what it does.

EDIT: And just so I'm not all grumble and no give, these are both free and excellent:
http://glyphicons.com/ and http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/cheatsheet/
One's a font, the other's a sprite. Both are smaller than the current multiple icons.

Did we also lose the Search link (http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?action=search) or am I just not seeing it?

This topic is beginning to seem like a Write Only memory.

How about the person/people in charge give some feedback on everyone's comments?
