In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, however in practice there are many...

Don't we have background radiation from big bang?

In principle this is like running a crystal-set radio, which turns RF energy into sound in your earpiece with no battery. I wonder how you might assemble one for testing? As I recall, crystal radios need a coil, a diode and a tuning capacitor (and a fairly lengthy aerial). Now instead of driving an earpiece, if you could charge up a holding capacitor sufficiently you might be able to power a small processor.

Just out of curiosity, why not just use a solar panel? Like calculators use. After all, who goes about their business in pitch dark? (Don't answer that, lol).

TESLA had the solution but his project was shut down

As I said, there was a reason for that.

I /know/ the reason for that... do you?

I love how you assume that unless the person writes out everything they seem to think that's all you know.

A bulb lights up.

Really you going to say " there are reasons for that " Or do you need me to explicitly go about the electron flow and how electrons pass between the valence shells?!

Or maybe it's their way of racking up post count?... (tesla got shutdown when shareholders found out you can't sell it)

We do, but what use is that? It is way too small to play tricks like that.

So to answer the question in the title.
No.

Indeed I do.  It's called the inverse square law.

Did that law get passed? I seem to remember they tried to pass a law that Pi was 3.2
