i am not new to programming but am new to arduino robots !

my son has asked for a robot kit for xmas

is there something you can recommend for us to get started ?

i like the idea of a roombot - simple explorer droid with 2 drive wheels and one castor

also like the idea of a balance bot that stands up on 2 wheels
