A lot of questions...
let's start from the beginning ... follow this sample

http://scuola.arduino.cc/courses/lessons/view/zzdeJ3m

is better ... ad remember that in your sketch folder you must create a folder named www ad put index.html and the .js file

Thank you so much!
I just replaced the code for my temperature sensor LM34 which is what I am using and then BOOM everything work!!!  :)

Hello raxpa

My page says "Waiting for Arduino"

Where do you issue the "temperature" command (string)?

In the documentation at http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/TemperatureWebPanel it says:

"In this sketch folder is a basic webpage and a copy of zepto.js, a minimized version of jQuery."

After installing the latest IDE, I didn't see that. Does anyone know where the folder is?

If you go to arduino install directory
and then the libraries folder
then the Bridge folder
then the examples folder
then the TemperatureWebPanel folder!

Then you will see the www folder right next to the  TemperatureWebPanel.ino sketch in there you will find the index.html and the zepto.min files.

Al so I had to use the url of the Yun in place of the Yun's name "192.168.1.103" in place of "ardunio" in order for the html page to come up, don't ask me why because I have no idea! Maybe someone else could answer that?

So the url would look something like this
http://192.168.1.103.local/sd/TemperatureWebPanel

All

I was getting '0' just like the opening message of this topic.
because of using ie8,  zepto.js must not work with ie8.   jQuery 1.x
works.  The newer jquery 2.x doesn't. They explicitly say can't be used
with ie6, ie7, or ie8.    Also there is a compressed or minimized version
of jQuery 1.x  to download which works.

How can I adjust this script so it does not require a login when visiting the web page?

I had an index.html (since renamed) in this same directory that did not require a login.

To disable the login request you have to change the REST API access to open http://arduino.cc/en/Guide/ArduinoYun#toc5
