Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hey guys it looks like I'm going to buy an arduino but I had one question first.  All of these websites say I should also buy a 9V adapter and a USB cable...these don't come with the package?  I don't want to spend $15 on stuff that comes in the box...

thanks guys!

They don't come w/ the Arduino, although since you can power the board via USB, you only need the 9V adapter if you want to use it apart from a computer or with high-current loads.

That depends on what you order  smiley-razz

Arduino is a low cost open source project.

Most places sell the arduino board (or compatible board) alone, but some places sell the board as a package with other stuff, power supply USB cable electronics components etc...

My two boards arrived in an antistatic bag with nothing else but the boards - just as i ordered them.
