Hi All,

I'm using Yaffs FS in my Nand flash, i'm getting bit flip issue.
So i enable the NAND on-die ECC to overcome the bit flip issue. Now i couldn't see the bit flip issue often.

I want to know, is there any way to inserting the bit flipping error manually in the NAND flash by using any script? I need this to check whether the NAND on-die ECC fix the bit flip issue.
Please help me out and let me know any way to do this?

I think while on-die ECC is enabled the bit flip could be introduced by external means only - ie by a radiation source, high temperature, strong emag field, etc..

Can you disable the ECC, write a byte then enable it?
