I am a student in Art and know nothing about technology. I want to make an installation consisting of a vertical curtain (fabric) which parts must move (or wave or vibrate, move ...) when a spectator approach to about 50/100 cm and stop when the viewer s 'away. From what I understood the arrangement comprises a HC-SR04 sensor, 3 servos, an Arduino UNO, a diet ... (3 servos must operate independently).
How to connect the components (timeline?) How to program the card? Or do they exist fixtures all facts?
Any help will be invaluable.

The Arduino site has a tutorial section and it contains example code for servo's and distance sensors. I advice to spend some time there to get an idea how these examples and the Arduino work. All the code snippets you need are there.

And yes please post also in English on the international part of the forum. (google translate est votre ami)
