Topic: SERIOUSLY developmental board (Read 758 times) previous topic - next topic

What I think would be a way cool 'duino variant would be a board that was for the express purpose of development -- one that had a ZIF socket for the chip (make switching between chips fast/easy/safe), with an option to burn the bootloader from the IDE (maybe from serial EEPROM?).

Effectively, the board would allow a blank chip to be dropped in, code developed, then pull the chip for "standalone" use in a specific project -- leaving the dev board blank for the next project.

But, hey, that's just me  ;)
