K. Is the nano having components on both sides of the PCB ?

One side has usb connector / atmega chip / icsp header / reset button / rx, tx leds /

The other side has your header pins sticking out / your ftdi chip (usb to serial converter to "talk" to your arduino) / voltage regulator / capacitors / resistors / diode

edit : Yes, it's a double sided board with components on both sides
