I've encountered numerous google top-results for Arduino information, only to discover locked "rubbish".

Maybe someone meant well in years gone by, by locking old forums, but the sheer volume of "crap" that comes up top nowdays, with no way for anyone to correct anything, really needs to be addressed.  This is seriously harming the community, both figuratively, and literally.

I say that all "locked" material needs to either be removed, or unlocked.  Marking badness as indelible is plain wrong.  Preventing the community from helping one another (such as through locking) is also totally against spirit, common sense, and plain decency.
