Is it possible to use more them the 6 analog inputs available in the board? I mean, can I use any sort of electronic circuit component such as a multiplexer to extend the number of analog inputs available? (I may need that)

I have a small (primitive but working) PCB design for 2 4051 IC's giving 16 analog inputs at the expense of 3 digital pins + one analog.

You can find it here:

http://mikmo.dk/misc/arduinomux.zip

I used it for reading 16 slidepots. The Arduinocode for doing that and sending the values to a PC is included in the zip file.
