Hi, I'm a spanish teacher of electrics and automation in vocational education.

I'd like to program Arduino with Ladder languagge (PLC langauge), because my students atre very used to it, not to Processing. Does anybody know if there's any transaltor or converter?

Thanks

There have been some discussions about "PLC language on Arduino" in the past

google "PLC site:arduino.cc" and you find e.g.

"Open source PLC based on Arduino" - http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=236945.0 -

But there might be differences in the exact language.
Options is to define a graduate project to create a PLC interpreter on /convertor for Arduino.

On the other hand, what is wrong with teaching students different languages?
They will learn more in the end...

Nothing is wrong, of course, but PLC langauge must be learned 'cos it's what they will find in the Industry, and, fortunately, time in our courses is not unlimitted. Is just a practical question.

fair enough,

If you find the PLC language you might have a look at the - http://www.industruino.com/ -
It is an Arduino with an industrial look & feel.

Have a look at Beremiz, I think it can work on Arduino.
