New, out of box Uno doesn't load programs.
Driver load seemed to go well ... COM9 assigned. All settings in Sketch (COMPORT, BOARD) are correct.
But I can't load BLINK.
avrdude: ser_send(): write error: sorry no info avail
This is an XP computer. I've tried the same loading process on another XP computer and all works well: BLINK loads properly and runs on that machine.
Suggestions appreciated
