Come da titolo, questo componente a cosa serve?
se non erro è un diodo e dovrebbe far passare la corrente solo in un senso.
lo volevo mettere sul circuito di un servo al posto del motore dove ho messo dei led al posto del motorino per evitare che si bruciassero :-/

serve esattamente a far passare corrente solo in un senso, ma non ho capito cosa vuoi farci (e da quello che ho capito, non va bene)

Ah sì, usa l'elettronica di un Servo per pilotare un led.
Puoi fare due cose
1) metti un diodo in antiparalello al LED ( katodo del led e anodo del diodo insieme e anodo LED e katodo del diodo). Questo perché i LED reggono una tensione piccola quando vengono collegati al rovescio (massimo 6 a 7V, il 1n4007 al confronto regge 1000V)
2) metti 2 LED di colore diverso in antiparalello o compro un LED bicolore e puoi avere 2 colori
Ovviamente Ti serve un resistenza in serie al LED per limitare la corrente.
