I looked at the AVR development environment, there you could get an emulator to use on your AVR chip, well it was absolutely not for free, but it was affordable compared with emulators to other processors.

My experience is that you save a lot of development time using an emulator.

Anybody with any experience?

From what I have read, it places code breakpoints by inserting a trap or break instruction in the code. Do you know if it can set breaks on memory access?

Is it possible to use the libraries with AVR studio?
