HI

we are using Arduino BT modules with Arduino2Max and AMX/MSP/Jitter.

We've discovered a consistent problem: on a Windows platform, MAX won't recognize \the BT module on a COM port higher than about 10.

On a Macbook, by contrast, we have been able to recognize port numbers over 30...

Would anyone know why a PC has such trouble with high-numbered virtual ports in MAX?

It might be because apparently you need to use different file name for COM ports over 9.  See this forum posting from smd: http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1140282379/5#5
