Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

hi everyone
a quick question:
i am trying to interface arduino with flash
i am taking in an analogue input from a bend sensor
this gives me a value between 500 and 700
if my value is over 600 i want to send a signal to flash
then i want arduino to wait and listen to flash
for example i want to send the letter "D" to flash
flash receives this signal and plays an animation
when the animation is finished i want to send a signal back to arduino
and tell it to go back to checking for an input from the bend sensor?
any ideas?
thanks!
