The 1-Wire family is a lot more than some great temperature sensors.

Apologies for the virtual cross post, but the discussion here of 1-Wire programming was so energetic, I thought I'd take the chance that people would want to know.

Could I suggest that any discussion of the hardware go on in that thread, but that discussion of the software for accessing the other 1-Wire chips be discussed here? ("The software" is nearly written... most of what is used to read the temperature sensors will apply directly to reading the other 1-Wire chips.)
