Hi !

Fist excuse me for my english ;)

I am using ethernet shield with library.

I am looking for a way to know in the skecth if the RJ45 jack is connected to the board.

How can I know if it is connected ?

Thanks !

Well, idea is not the same as solution ;-)

I'd have a look at the wiznet's datasheet and see if there is a status bit for media connect or link up/down or similar.
• Upload doesn't work? Do a loop-back test.
• There's absolutely NO excuse for not having an ISP!
• Your AVR needs a brain surgery? Use the online FUSE calculator.
My projects: RGB LED matrix, RGB LED ring, various ATtiny gadgets...
• Microsoft is not the answer. It is the question, and the answer is NO!
