Hi folks!

I've just wanted to show you the new stuff we've been working on for the past few weeks. Our software makes possible to control the Arduino board with Squeak Etoys, a visual programming system intended for children.

It's not ready yet, but I hope we'll make it available sometime this week.
Have fun!

Hey Ricardo,

awesome project and pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Please let me know ASAP when you release it or when you need some testing.

Hi, you can download it from here: http://tecnodacta.com.ar/gira/Arduino.3.rar.
Please let me know what you think of it.

Also, if you're interested in OLPC development some guys already ported our project to the XO laptop.

Ricardo, this is a great project! What age range do you find is suitable for Arduino concepts?

I am very interested in getting more information about the XO laptop port. Should we take this off-line, or is there general interest for this XO sub-topic?

I'm not really an educator so I'm not sure what age range is suitable for Arduino. I hope this project would help making it easier for younger children, though.

Regarding the XO, I've just uploaded a new version which works in the XO laptop. You can download it from here: http://tecnodacta.com.ar/gira/?page_id=196. It's not bundled as an activity yet, but it still works. You just need to unzip it and run Arduino.sh.

Please let me know what you think of it.
Cheers
