Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hello!
I would like to know if there is a version of the Arduino serial monitor without the IDE or if anybody knows some simple and free software similar to the serial monitor in the Arduino IDE.

I need something clean and simple like the Arduino serial monitor but without the IDE.

Thank you!

You can use any serial monitor program you like. G**gle will give you loads if you take a look.
Some function much better than the one on the arduino IDE too.

I use brey terminal. While maybe not the simplest it is among the most powerful and useful windows serial terminal program. It's free and it's a pretty small standalone EXE program (no dll or other support required) that doesn't need to be installed, just launched. I carry it around on my usb memory stick also.
