I am using windows vista platform in my laptop.
can i use gobetwino software for saving my arduino environment data to excel sheet??
how?
do i need to download .net frame work?

Yes you can send data from Arduino to Excel.

If you have Windows Vista i think you already have the .net distributables that you need.

There is example Arduino code in the GoBetwino download demonstrating how to send data to Excel. Theres also a reasonably detailed user manual.

Hey,

I needed no frills data logging application, that could log the data from a serielport and add it to at simple text-file.

I found this:

Then in your arduino code you can add some characters and make a CSV-file
