Topic: Kudos for arduino-0019 (Read 780 times) previous topic - next topic

I just want to say thanks for the latest release. I believe it has fixed a longstanding problem I've had with a misbehaving interrupt handler in my IR receiver library. I believe issue 146 was causing periodic corruption of the incoming codes. I've upgraded to arduino-0019 and all traces of the glitch are gone!

we hope to do even better with our future releases :)

Thats interesting, I have code reading rotary encoders via interrupt.
In 0018 the file complies to a different size than 0019 (300 bytes in a 1600 byte sketch)

I seem to miss occassional interrupts, but with 0019 it seems ok
I wonder why the same sketch is so different is size, maybe part ore being optimised out of existance

I don't know if this is the place to post this (or if this is even worthy of a post) but on my Slackware 13.1 x86 box using Arduino-0021 and the new Uno I am having zero problems right now. (Hint: watch the permissions on /dev/ttyACM?, but I've always known about this :) Hats off to the whole team! :) Looking forward to a 64-bit version.
