 Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi

I,m new to Arduino, and my problem is that the list for Serial Ports only shows;

/dev/tty.Bluetooth-Modem
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-Modem
/dev/tty.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync

and I want to connect to the USB port

I'm running a MacBook Pro with OS 10.5.4

Thanks

Sounds like you haven't loaded the FTDI drivers yet?

I've run the FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_9Intel.dmg which advises me it's been install successfully.
And I've restarted as instructed.

Where should these files go? I could see if they are in the right place.

Have you plugged in the Arduino before asking for the list? It will only appear on the list once the drivers are installed and it is plugged in. Try quiting and then re running the Arduino environment after it has been plugged in.
