Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

I have bought a Arduino Diecimila with pre-programmed. But during last week, the bootloader is corrupted.

I have make a parallel program myself and I program the bootloader into my Arduino. I found that, when I try to use USB to download my sketch into Aruduino, it is not responding! I have to press RESET button, so that I only can programmed sketch in.

Can anyone please tell me what is going wrong?

I do not really understand what you did.

You have a parallel programmer?

Does the Arduino show the three blinking LED's?

Are you sure your board and bootloader support auto-reset?

Do you have an official Arduino Diecimila made in Italy?
