Gigadork had this problem back on 13.12.2008. I don't understand all of the "command line" stuff. Need some layman help please. Beginner here. So, everything was fine w/12 until I heard there was a newer version, loaded 13 ,,,,,,then Bam! Pow!.......Windows xp, sp3 arduino 13-Duemelinove board.
It hangs up when I try to compile, upload etc. The only way to get it unstuck is to dump the computer by the power switch. (Not good). I did notice (like Gigadork mentioned)that there seems to be extra versions of stuff from arduino in the processes? back somewhere in the management section of the drive.
Also, my security "Kaspersky" kicks in and gives warnings everywhere.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.
