does anyone know how to get the arduino logo to show up in the task bar? Right now it's showing up as the Java logo.
using windows 7 and 0018 for the arduino.

I'm a little lost with the last part? "Open regedit and delete "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\javaw.exe\IsHostApp" key"
not sure where to look to delete it? are you saying to just delete the app?

No, it is to undo the patch. Just ignore the "Unninstall instructions" (you will love the new look of arduino ide in your windows 7  haha) (start, run: "regedit", enter, HKCR\Applications\javaw.exe\IsHostApp)

Yes, it works everywhere but for aestetics you need the "hack" just in Win 7
