I can see that the forum is only version 2.2.3, but the current version is 2.5AE

the 2.5AE both comes with quote button (with jump to, so that it is easy to see where it was quotes), Syntax Highlighting, better logic for banned users and to prevent spam bots, and a lot of other fixes.

Looks like a lot of the tricky things we are doing right now, such as manually copy and pasting the quotes, are all fixed just by updating the forum to the current stable version.

Isn't that possible? And a easy and fast fix to do?

and probably more...

Just the speed increase getting away from a flat file system would be worth looking into other solutions.

I do like some of the features of this packae though. I am not sure about the development cycle on it. I was reading up on the history of YaBB a few days ago. Kinda interesting.

quote button = abuse (and really copy and paste is tricky? click drag right click)

syntax highlight, for what language?
