Yes indeed but it doesn't completely stop it. We really need a sticky thread which everyone reads about the forum.
Then there are a lot of questions like this that could be answered.

I also need to post one normal message to include images for my new topic in the Exhibition section. Greetings to all Arduino forum members!

The one post requirement seems to prevent a large percent of the spam that we'd otherwise have, at a relatively low cost. I know it's annoying to have to make a second post for links / images, but it seems like a reasonable trade-off.

Hi all, I was going to edit the playground but don't have the rights... Does posting give you rights to edit the Playground?

No. You need a separate account to edit the playground.
Before you do that, though, perhaps it would be good to post here what you think is wrong, and what you propose to change.

Personally, i think that you should have to take a little quiz about the rules before you can even post. Something like 5 questions or something.

I think the current requirement only delays spammers by 1 post, where as adding a mod to the fourm software to check a blacklist would be much more effective and less of a PITA to new users
course we know the preference to manually fiddle fart with it sometimes days after the damage is done so I dont know why I keep bringing this up...

I don't understand the point to making me post a regular and useless post, before I can post what I want
