I'm curious, how do you edit your signature in the user control panel?
I can get there and every time I type something it clears immediately.
Do you have to be a god to have a sig?

Not all features of the forum are enabled. Signatures are one feature that is turned off, to help stop advertising on the forum. Even gods don't have signatures.

Some people may appear to have sigs but they just type in whatever they want at the end of each post.

Some people might have even set up something to do it automatically...
I would not advise you try this/do this as sigs were disabled for good reason.

Signatures are disabled to prevent two things. The first is links to irrelevant sites. The second is massively long signatures that contribute nothing to the discussion, but that must be archived forever, anyway.

And the third is to stop mass advertising.
