Hello all,
first up cool forum and lot of help on arduinos' and demos.
Be with me I am sort of new to the Arduino seen and I am having a small problem.
I am playing around with a couple of quadrature encoders to position a large set of antennas within 1/10 of a degree, I have it counting up and down with out a problem, BUT when it reaches 65535 the next number is zero, surely the arduinos can count higher in a string?
A quick calculation at 3 am this morning I need to count up to 216000 and down of course.
Besides using it for antennas to point at parts of the moon, you could put a telescope on it.

looking forward to a little help.

Cheers Paul

Post your code.
You are going over the limit of an unsigned int.
Try changing to a long.
BTW Arduino attracts amateur radio operators like a magnet  :)
Avoid throwing electronics out as you or someone else might need them for parts or use.
Solid state rectifiers are the only REAL rectifiers.
Resistors for LEDS!
