Mowcius is not happy
Mowcius has an idea who it was (who was online here then...) - now whether to be mean or not
'Twas I. I encourage everyone reading this to give me negative karma.

I encourage everyone reading this to give me negative karma.
There's always one guy. It's Saturday
I want to be different, like everybody else I want to be like I want to be just like all the different people I have no further interest in being the same, because I have seen difference all around, and now I know that that's what I want I don't want to blend in and be indistinguishable, I want to be a part of the different crowd, and assert my individuality along with the others who are different like me I don't want to be identical to anyone or anything I don't even want to be identical to myself I want to look in the mirror and wonder, "who is that person? I've never seen that person before; I've never seen anyone like that before." I want to call into question the very idea that identity can be attached I want a floating, shifting, ever changing persona: Invisibility and obscurity, detachment from the ego and all of it's pursuits. Unity is useless Comformity is competitive and divisive and leads only to stagnation and death. If what I'm saying doesn't make any sense, that's because sense can not be made It's something that must be sensed And I, for one, am incensed by all this complacency Why oppose war only when there's a war? Why defend the clinics only when they're attacked? Why are we always reactive? Let's activate something Let's fuck shit up Whatever happened to revolution for the hell of it? Whatever happened to protesting nothing in particular, just protesting cause it's Saturday and there's nothing else to do?

Nope. I don't approve either. But those people will get what is coming to them.

Nope. I don't approve either. But those people will get what is coming to them. You see - that is called abusing the system. There was no need to give anyone negative karma. Edit- I'm on -2 now? What did I do?Mowcius

I'm on -2 now? What did I do? Well, there's part of the problem. If you're at all prolific, and negative feedback is anonymous and not associated with particular postings, it's hard to improve oneself...

Karma is bad. Anonymous karma is really bad. It is wide open to abuse. Negative karma will always cause bad feelings. Karma should go. Right now!

Mowcius,
I've never seen you post something that deserved - karma, so I guess we have to treat the whole karma thing with a grain of salt.
I can see the reasoning for it ie, distingiushing between those who talk a lot and those with something to say. But maybe it should go.
I say give it some time and review if it's being abused.

I say give it some time and review if it's being abused. Yeah I can't say I'm too fussed though - people listen or they don't. People normally agree with things when helping people out.

shouldn't it be that the only one who can vote Karma, is the original poster posing the question ? it will tell if he/she was helped?
Or is that how it works?

It's a good idea, but people ask questions in other people's threads and it'd be a shame to limit it to the original poster only.

Just eliminate the negative karma, leave the positive karma count, and leave it at that.
