If you want to make an Arduino into a mouse, I would suggest using an Arduino Uno, as this can be made to be recognised as a mouse by your computer, completely removing the need for you to use the rxtx Java library or any Java at all, it will mean you can use the SNES pad on any computer with little fuss.
