I've noticed that a users location (if entered in their profile) doesn't display. This was helpful when giving advice and options of where one might obtain parts and such, and also helpful to determine that the member might not use English as their primary language and thus help in responding.

So is this something we have lost forever, or just some setting yet to be flipped on?

Yeah, but if you let people add it arbitrarily to random parts of their profile, you’ll have people arrogantly not bothering to even mention which country they’re in. I mean, how rude!
