Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi All,

This is probably a really dumb question, but one I haven't been able to find an answer to, so here goes....

I use lots of Pro Micro's which have the benefit of the on board usb.  Has anyone ever seen a USB to serial converter  that could be implemented to gain access to the USB serial from another embedded board?  (All the usb/serial converters I can find on the web seem specific to the host side of things, not the device side. )

It would be great to be able to unlock that second hardware serial capability and chain the USB serial on one micro into the hardware serial of a second.

Hi Rob,

If these will work for a device to device connection then awesome stuff, but my understanding was that they were device to host and the 32u4 doesn't have host capabilities.

Does anyone out there have any experience of using one of these in a device to device context?

(If they do work this way it'd be major cool and make my project even sweeter  smiley )
