I'm working on animatronic musical show with a drummer and a guitarist.

But its hard to synchronize audio and movements.

I need a faster way to do this.

Each one has more than 10 servo to generate movements, arms, head, eyes etc etc
I tried to synchronize the music and movement programming in the traditional way, but it's hard.

So I ask, is there a way to record the movements in real time, then I automatically use later?

Thanks

Yes but you need something to register your movements like a physical controller.
Perhaps the best thing is to look at music controllers like MIDI interfaces and use MIDI software to record your movements. Or you can be more modern with OSC commands. There are iPod and iPad controllers that could be customised for this.

I already did a physical control for all movements, and the idea of using Midi interface is excellent, and seems to be easier than using OSC.

When I have some progress I'll be back to show you.

Thanks
