Topic: ISP programmer & Windows 7 (Read 6 times) previous topic - next topic

I need a recommendation for a reliable ISP programmer that plays with Windows 7 (both Home & Ultimate versions). I have an Adafruit USBTinyISP that works in Win 7 Home but can't load the driver in Win 7 Ultimate. I'm getting tired of it and want something that just works. I'm not (necessarily) looking for the cheapest alternative.

you can go for the AVR MKII isp from the ATMEL ,basically with windows getting advanced (and complex)version after version we should go for USB interface rather than Serial or Parallel(i have done both and also achieved partial success) as interfacing their connection's has become more and more cumbersome.
also, if you want to program ATmega's only the Arduino's itself can be a Nice! Alternative.(Depending on Arduino Type and make)
