Hello everyone. For a project, I want to do exactly this.



but I also need to send to information wireless. I'm a programmer and the code won't be a problem, mine is hardware. I thought the I could easily plug an Xbee over the breadboard and receive the data back on a computer with a simple Xbee Explorer USB. So my question is: will it be possible for me to plug the Bee on the breadboard, is there enough sockets for it ?

This depends on the breadboard that you have. But, in general, the answer is no. The XBees use a very nice, but non-standard, pin spacing. The XBee pins do not line up with the holes in a breadboard.

There are shields that fit an Arduino that an XBee will mount on, or there are breakout boards that the XBee will mount on that have the more traditional pin spacing, so the XBee can mount on a breadboard.
