I discovered the Arduino off of boingboeing.net a few months ago, and have been fascinated!  I have graduated (I hope) from blinky LED projects to something that merges two hobbies, Arduino and water rockets.  I am approaching a flight test, and I am wondering who might have done something similar, or had advise or interest (a search of the Forum found no references).

I didn't realise you had any control over a water rocket - vectored thrust using servos, or something like that?

If a rocket a powerful, he will need to trace it with GPS to see the "orbital data" - :)

That'll be some mighty powerful rocket that can orbit at less than 18km altitude.
You may get altitude, but you won't get speed!   ;)
